Delicious Hamburger Steaks with Onions and Mushrooms

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • .5 teaspoon salt
  • .5 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup onion sliced
  • 8 ounces Bella mushrooms sliced
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Marsala wine
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Make 8 balls out of the ground beef, then flatten them into beef patties.
  • Over medium heat, get the vegetable oil hot in a large skillet. Place the beef patties in the pan for about 4 minutes on each side. Remove the patties, and set them aside.
     
  • Throw the sliced onion and mushrooms in the oil. When the onions are translucent, and the mushrooms are browned, stir in the flour while scraping any bits of beef from the pan. That's flavor!
  • Slowly pour in the beef broth and Marsala wine. Salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes. Put the patties back in the skillet. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
